This is by FAR my favorite piece. I wanted to keep it so badly, but it simply did not fit (after slipping a disc moving it 🥴)
I ended up using some contact paper for contrast.
@sweetpickins milk paint in creamy and @mmsmilkpaint tough coat to seal the chippy finish.
@salvagedbyk.scott did a YouTube tutorial on this faux cane finish and it inspired me to ditch the glass and use burlap instead 💓

My latest furniture flip definitely had me using ALL the bad words🤫
This was a generously gifted set from @rindihariel
I had never redone a piece that wasn't real wood; this was MDF.
So, I figure let me use what I had on hand: milk paint
Let's just say after 2 FAILED attempts I was ready to use these pieces as target practice 🤦‍♀️
I should've KNOWN!! So, I had to waste my precious @sweetpickins milk paint 😭
I went to @youtube and then found the easiest way to redo it, spray paint
I ended up going with a @rustoleum color and yall!! Its 👌
I ended up lining the drawers to pull the colors together ❤

I was so excited to get this coffee and side table set completed.
This was a Facebook marketplace buy and I couldn't be more excited for this redo because it was mine to keep🥰
I knew the coffee table would get multiple uses from homework to casual dinners. So I had to make sure I sealed it up good👌
I originally wanted a chippy finish, but unfortunately it barely chipped.
Its okay because we made lemonade from lemons 🍋

This was another custom project for a client. She

This was another custom project for a client. She wanted me to re-do these chairs we found off the Facebook marketplace.
Upon picking them up, the seller told me that these chairs were very special to her; they had 30+ years of memories.
That got me thinking, I didn't want to take away from the stories, but give them a new light for the new owners.
BUT, with 30+ years of memories come LAYERS of paint and sealer 🤪
Luckily, @sweetpickins has some pretty awesome Extra Bond and I did NOT have to sand it all down completely.
